CrewBox is a B2B platform for deploying AI teammates that work alongside your people in Slack and email. Each one has a real identity — a name, a Slack avatar, an email address — and is onboarded like a new hire rather than installed like a chatbot. The goal is an AI employee that knows your process, your people, and your priorities, and grows more autonomous the longer it works with you.

Generic AI assistants are stateless and anonymous — they forget everything after the conversation and have no position on your team. A CrewBox AI teammate is the opposite: it has its own identity on your channels, builds institutional memory that compounds week over week, and operates with tenure-based autonomy (asking for approval early, operating independently once it has earned trust). Same underlying models; fundamentally different product.

In the tools your team already uses. Today, CrewBox plugs into Slack and email — your AI teammate shows up as a real user in a real channel, with its own inbox. Telegram is on the near-term roadmap, and additional channels (WhatsApp, Calendar, CRM, GitHub) are planned as first-party integrations.

The same way you'd onboard a junior hire: plain-English instructions about who they report to, what they're responsible for, and what the team's norms are. There are no prompts to engineer, no YAML to edit, and no API keys for each skill. Over the first few weeks the AI asks clarifying questions, checks in before acting, and builds a shared understanding of how your team operates.

Yes. That's one of the core design decisions. CrewBox maintains a structured memory of facts, past episodes, and team-specific procedures — not just a rolling chat window. A decision you make on Monday informs how your AI teammate responds on Thursday, even in an unrelated thread. Stale facts decay; confirmed ones compound. Over time the teammate becomes measurably more useful, not just more familiar.

Autonomy is tenure-based and earned per domain. New teammates ask for approval before most actions. As they demonstrate accuracy in a specific area (e.g., responding to candidates), they earn a badge for that domain and can operate independently there while still asking for approval in less-proven areas. You can tighten or loosen the approval bar at any time in plain English — no policy engine to configure.

Both models are supported. CrewBox can run as a SaaS product operated by us, or you can deploy it inside your own infrastructure (Docker Compose today, Kubernetes on the roadmap) so that all conversation data, memory, and audit logs stay inside your perimeter. Optional PII redaction replaces personal information with placeholders before anything reaches the underlying LLM.
